About Us
We are a group of passionate Trail and Ultra Runners, with over 20 years combined experience of hosting running events. The North Coast Ultra has been founded to give people the opportunity to run an Ultra Distance on a different type of landscape to the usual, showcasing all that the beautiful sub-tropical region of South Africa has to offer.

An Ultra Marathon like no other, the North Coast Ultra will take you from coastal trails, onto the beach, through beautiful indigenous forests and plantations, past mangrove swamps and up steep rocky gorges. The fast changing terrain and stunning sea views make this an event not to be missed.
In addition to the three distances on offer, the N.C.U will host a Trail and Ultra Running exhibition with the presence of some of the biggest retail brands, organisations and experts in the trail and ultra-running world.
